About Listed
Listed — the Global Sanctions Tracker — follows official government sanctions lists from primary sources. (Engine: the Global Economic Measures Atlas.)
How the data is produced
Each update starts from a file downloaded from the issuing authority's own website. The original file is preserved unchanged and checksummed. The system compares it with the previous published state, classifies every difference, and a human reviewer approves or rejects each change before anything is published. Look-alike names are never merged automatically — a person decides every time. Every published fact traces back to the official file it came from.
